Why Your Swing Keeps Breaking Down
And Why Tips Don’t Fix It
Most golfers try tips, drills and videos hoping something finally sticks. But when the underlying pattern doesn’t change, the same old movements eventually return.
Your CaliGolf Student Assessment helps identify where your swing breaks down and what movements you should focus on first.
- Why good swings can disappear from one day to the next
- Where sequence and balance begin to break down
- What to focus on first to build a more repeatable swing

Mike Maggs
Golf Digest Best in State coach Mike Maggs has spent nearly two decades helping golfers replace inconsistent swing patterns with simpler, more repeatable movements. His coaching focuses on identifying the root cause of poor shots, creating a clear improvement plan and helping golfers build changes that hold up on the course.
Matt Dito, PGA
Matt brings more than two decades of experience in golf instruction, player development and competition, including nine years coaching full-time at Silverado Resort. His approach helps golfers better understand why certain shots occur, where their swing begins to break down and which changes will create the biggest improvement.
Why This Assessment Works
Most golf lessons start by trying to fix what you see. The CaliGolf Student Assessment starts by identifying why the problem keeps happening.
We look at your swing pattern, sequence, balance and ball flight to find the movements creating inconsistency. From there, your coach can prioritize what matters most and build a simpler, more focused improvement plan.
The goal is not more information. It’s knowing exactly what to work on next.
Real Golfers. Real Breakthroughs.
Every golfer starts with different goals, swing patterns and challenges. See how CaliGolf students have improved their swings, lowered scores and built more consistent games.
