Hi I’m Coach Mike Maggs

I am thrilled you are considering working together on your golf game and I take the responsibility very seriously.  I consider myself and my students teammates with different responsibilities.   Mine includes being your guide to all things golf and your responsibly is to be a dedicated student golfer who is open to pushing yourself a little to achieve great things in your golf game.

A little about me, I’m the Owner of the CaliGolf Instruction, Carlsbad Ca.  A disciple of the Jim McLean Golf School, I previously served as an Instructor at the PGA West Golf Academy and Jim McLean Golf School, both located at PGA West La Quinta Resort and Spa. I also owned and operated the Maggs Golf Academy at the Golf Club at Terra Lago in Indio, Ca before partnering with Devan Bonebrake Southern California Golf Academy back in 2017 and former CoFounder of StudioGolf.

I am proficient in a number of our cutting-edge golf technologies, including TrackMan and SAM Putt Lab.  I Strongly believes my students needs to understand themselves and their golf swing, commit completely to the solution and enjoy THE PROCESS of getting better.  If these ingredients are in place, anyone with the proper guidance can reach their golfing goals whether that is Playing professionally, lowering their handicap or just have a ton of fun out on the golf course.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A NEW STUDENT ASSESSMENT?

There is no obligation to commit to additional instruction following your New Student Assessment with Mike Maggs.  If you decide to move forward with a program at CaliGolf Instruction, you can expect Coach Maggs to walk you through all of the necessary steps to mastering the desired skill, so that you can take your game to the next level and sustain it for years to come!
